We've all been there. We've got ready for a night out and the plans get cancelled. This happened to me a couple of weeks ago.,I was all ready for a night out with friends and the plan changed and I couldn't go (the reasons why would be a blog post in themselves so I'll spare you that one or you'll be reading all week)! So, my hair was on point, I'd spent far two long perfecting my eyeliner flicks and I'd freshly spritzed myself with perfume - I could of almost broken down in tears I was so gutted. But then I thought, why are you gutted that you aren't going out, when a night in could be just as good (and probably a lot cheaper)? So here are my thoughts on what to do when you're all glammed up with nowhere to go...

STICK YOUR PYJAMAS ON

They're comfy. Because let's not lie about it, who actually finds those skyscraper heels comfortable? Getting changed is the first sign of admitting to yourself that the glamorous night out is over - but that doesn't mean the night is over, just get cosy and comfy.

POUR YOURSELF A DRINK
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Preferably the alcoholic kind (only if you're of legal age - not promoting under age drinking!). Whatever you'd have had on your night out, pour it at home...you'll be saving yourself a few pounds as well - mines a Vodka and Coke please!

TAKE YOUR MAKE UP OFF
_____________________________________________________________________________________
I'd spent far to long on that eye liner - much longer than I wish to admit to. But sitting around in a full face of make up is not very fun. Give your skin a night off and do a full cleansing routine - let's face it, you'd have probably reached for the make up wipes if you'd have gone out, so you're skin is actually loving your night at home. Why not slap on a face mask?

CALL YOUR GIRLFRIENDS OVER
_____________________________________________________________________________________
If your night's been cancelled, it's likely theirs has too. Just because you're not all able to hit the dancefloor, doesn't mean a girls night in is off the cards. Stick on a box set, crack open the chocolates and laugh till your side's hurt!

HAVE A BUSY NIGHT
_____________________________________________________________________________________
If you're girlfriends can't keep you company, your list of jobs can. I know it sounds boring and won't be half as much fun as you could have had on your night out but it will leave you feeling very satisfied. Do those things you've been meaning to do all week. The time will pass really quickly and the next day you can go out and make some spontaneous plans - the spontaneous times are always the best! You'll feel much better knowing you have less jobs to get done when you get back.

RESCHEDULE YOUR NIGHT OUT
_____________________________________________________________________________________
It's a shame this time got cancelled, but why not immediately come up with a time to do it again. It won't get forgotten about if everyone puts it in their diary, and you'll cheer up straight away knowing you have another night to look forward to!
That's it for today. I hope this post has given you some ideas about what to do in that last minute cancellation little situation! What do you do in that case? Leave a comment!
See you Tuesday!
