I've hit 20,000 views!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I can't believe it! As you can see from the title I've hit 20,000 views! When I started my blog 18 months ago, it was a goal of mine to at some point in its existence reach 1000 views. That target came and went  a long time ago and since then as I've watched the views go up, I've slowly just become overwhelmed by the overwhelming response to my little corner of the internet.

The feeling when people comment on your blog, read your posts, tweet you lovely messages is only a feeling people who have a blog will understand. Putting yourself out there can be daunting sometimes - I type a lot of personal things here, and everytime I see a reader, I just wonder what their story is. When someone reads from the other side of the world, I wonder who it is, what time of day it is, are they on the bus to school or scrolling as they are about to go to bed? Who knows, all I know is that every single one of you is appreciated and I wish I could get to know you all more individually.

I'm actually sat here typing this watching Big Brother with my flatmate, with a little celebratory hot chocolate (yes, I know how to party!). I've been away from my blog a little while and only checked my profile today to make sure the post was being read and working OK. I never watch statistics - for me that's not what blogging is about. HBH is my outlet for just rambling about life and posting things I'm interested in. I hope that in the next few weeks I'll be back on the blog more regularly - I've got a variety of posts planned, some scrapbook related (yep, I'm back with the series I started back in September that lasted like two months!), some uni related some birthday related!

I turn 20 on Sunday! 20! I AM NO LONGER A TEENAGER! I don't think I'm quite ready for what is an official advancement into adulthood. So, I won't be posting on Sunday but will be back on Tuesday or Friday or both with blog posts about my birthday (I'm doing a lot of celebrating!) so I'll see you then!
