My favourite five in my wardrobe this Spring

I've been loving adding bits and pieces to my wardrobe lately. I've really been taking more interest in the things I buy, spending a little bit more on investment pieces, and loving putting outfits together! In today's post I thought I'd share my favourite pieces in my wardrobe for this spring/summer that match those trends that I've been really into!

THE BLUSH PINK MAC

I love this colour. I think it's so flattering and is such a soft, pretty colour for spring. I'd seen a couple of trench coats floating around that I liked but I never saw one that I thought was right. When I headed to Primark I saw this and my housemates convinced me to get it! At first I was unsure of the fit, but once I got it home, and teamed it with my skinny jeans and converse I thought 'hell to the yeah'!

THE EMBROIDED JEANS
_____________________________________________________________________________________

These have featured on my blog quite a lot recently. Let's start with the mom jean aspect - a trend that came and stayed and I'm glad I finally picked up a pair. At first I was thinking 'will embroidery come and go?' and yeah maybe it will but I think the pattern on these jeans will take me through seasons and isn't so dominating it takes over an outfit.

THE STRIPED BUTTON DOWN SHIRT
_____________________________________________________________________________________

I have been wearing this shirt so much over the past few weeks. It's great to take you from day to night, you can dress it up, dress it down whatever you want. It goes with every pair of jeans I own no matter what style or colour! This one is from Primark, it's loose fitting and the sleeves roll up really nicely so it's good for those warm days that have a bit of a breeze.

THE SLOGAN TEE
_____________________________________________________________________________________

I've really been looking to pick one of these up for a while. I had a distinct style in mind, I wanted a plain white short sleeved tee with a really distinct slogan on the front. I got this the other day in River Island and I love it. Bad choices really do make good stories.

THE BLUE JUMPER
_____________________________________________________________________________________

I've been seeing baby blue everywhere lately and it's a colour I absolutely love. I find it's really flattering against by red hair and pale skin and it such an easy colour to wear. I was thinking of picking up some sort of blouse in the colour, however when on holiday with my friends doing my favourite thing of charity shop browsing I saw this M&S thin knit jumper for £3! Bargain! I obviously can't tell you if it's still available because I have no idea...I'm guessing from the design of the label it won't be ha, but I definitely recommend picking up a thin jumper for spring, they're so handy to have

I've made got a couple of boards over on pinterest you might like to check out - one is my wardrobe edit, things I've been loving and another is a spring/summer '17 edit full of the newest catwalk things (things no one ever wears but look super cool on Cara Delevingne!)

See you soon,

Love, Hannah x

P.S how pale am I?! Need to get that fake tan around my face I think!
