Review: The Kiko Eye Marker

I'm always a bit wary when it comes to liquid liner. I've been victim of the panda eye on far too many occasion and it's something I'm not wishing to replicate. I've since been a fan of a pencil eye liner, but having seen how good my friends liquid liner looked I was very much interested in picking one up of my own. I stumbled across the KIKO black eye marker for a bargain of £3 something (it was on offer!) and today I thought I'd share my thoughts.

THE STAYING POWER

So to avoid that panda eye you need you liquid liner to stay put and stay umsmudged. This stays very well, not the most waterproof one on the market I imagine, however it just seems to disappear and flake away rather than roll down my face when it gets wet! It does last for hours though this eye liner, and remains really crisp and clear.

THE PRECISION
_____________________________________________________________________________________

I'm always looking for that perfect flick, and even though it's mainly skill that is required, I do think the brush is very important. This brush is so precise, really thin, really good size. It has helped me achieve that ever so searched for cat eye!

THE PACKAGING

Now, I was a bit sceptical about whether or not the plastic packaging would be really cheap and whether the lid would be really flimsy - no one wants it falling off and painting the inside of your make up bag. The packaging is really good, really sturdy, and although pretty simplistic, it does what it needs to do.

Overall I really love this eye liner. It is precise, bold, and has good staying power as well as being excellent value for money. It has converted me back to loving a liquid liner once again. I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try, do any of you have any recommendations for any other I should pick up?

Love Hannah x
